Vine Associates, Inc. (VAI) has performed numerous hydrographic surveys throughout New England since 1987 including dozens of surveys for river and harbor dredging projects including pre- and post-dredge surveys, eelgrass/shellfish delineations and side scan sonar surveys. We currently have fully equipped and experienced personnel devoted to providing our clients with this specialized type of surveying.

Equipment: Vine Associates is able to adapt their equipment to a wide variety of vessels. VAI maintains several size vessels including a 14’ Jon boat for easy access to shallow sites and a 20’ Carolina Skiff for typical surveys. VAI currently utilizes an Odom Hydrotrac single-frequency echo sounder, Raven Invicta 310 DGPS unit for horizontal positioning and Hypack Max acquisition and processing software for Hydrographic surveys.
