Vine Associates, Inc. (VAI) has performed many sub-bottom profile surveys throughout New England since 1987. Surveys were performed in association with dredge planning, pre and post construction surveys, and pre and post cable and cable trench surveys. VAI currently utilizes an Ocean Data Equipment Corp. – StrataBox Marine Geophysical Instrument Unit that uses the transmission of calibrated FM frequency low frequency acoustic waves (10 kHz) to penetrate the harbor/river bottom and provide resolution of sub-bottom layers and objects, a Raven Invicta 310 DGPS unit for horizontal positioning and all necessary associated equipment. We currently have fully equipped and experienced personnel devoted to providing our clients with this specialized type of surveying.
Other associated surveying services include; precision hydrographic surveys and underwater inspection, pre and post dredge survey plans, side scan surveys and topographic/beach surveys.
