Vine Associates, Inc. was retained by the Town of Salisbury to prepare an Affordable Housing Production Plan for submittal to the state Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD) and to rezone the Salisbury Square area. The Town received funds from the Massachusetts DHCD using a Community Development Block Grant from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development to undertake the planning effort.  Working with Town staff, the Salisbury Housing Partnership Committee and the Zoning Review Committee, the VAIteam helped to develop and refine a set of Affordable Housing Goals and an implementation strategy. The Affordable Housing Goals and implementation strategy will address the desired housing mix including unit size, number of bedrooms, rental versus ownership, and income levels.
