Vine Associates served as Project Manager of a multi disciplined team that provided waterfront planning studies to optimize recreational and commercial marina usage at City of Beverly harbor parcel. The work included inspection and evaluation of repair methods for granite stone seawalls at Glover’s Wharf and Ferry Landing for the City Harbor Commission. We also provided investigation of upgrading of the pier structure for ferry and head boat usage.
VAI also provided final design and permitting services to retrofit the existing $1.5 million pier to provide full handicap access including a boarding float. A Master Plan for the redevelopment of the landside of the site was also developed and included the demolition of the existing Harbormaster Building and programming and design investigations for a replacement building. Work is being funded by the Massachusetts Seaport bond Bill.
