Vine Associates, Inc. provided Construction services for State and Federal FEMA-funded repair projects of damaged breakwater and retaining wall structures at 3 sites. Sites include1850’s vintage masonry breakwater at Lane’s Cove; the 1,000 liner foot retaining wall at Cressy’s Beach, and construction of concrete retaining wall and revetment structure for approximately 1,500 linear foot section of roadway along Atlantic Avenue in Gloucester.
Under a current Seaport Bond and City funded program, VAI is providing permitting, design and construction phase services for another four City seawalls. The total cost of construction at the four sites is approximately four million dollars. Funding and accelerated damaged required two of the sites to be repaired under emergency contracts.
